DRDO Recruitment 2016 for 163 posts: Defense Research & Development organization, a unit of recruitment & assessment centre (RAC), ministry of defense, government of India has announced the employment notification for the recruitment of 163 posts. Where these vacancies are present in various departments such as electronics & communication engineering, computer science & engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, textile engineering, material science & engineering / metallurgical engineering, chemistry and mathematics etc. In order to fill up all these vacancies with eligible and candidates DRDO is accepting application forms. Therefore aspirants those who are having enough educational qualification such as
Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in engineering/ technology/ science in relevant subjects for some posts and bachelor’s/ master’s degree in agriculture science, animal science, cognitive science, biomedical engineering, fire tech safety engineering can apply through online. Online application process is going to start from 20th March 2016 to 10th April 2016. Age Limit: Candidates age should be less than 28 years as on the last date of 10-04-2016. Age reduction would be applicable up to 03 years for OBC candidates, 05 years for SC/ST.
- Educational Qualification:
For PART I: Aspirants must have passed Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Science/ Technology in any relevant subjects
For PART II: Aspirants must have passed Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Agriculture Science, Cognitive Science, Animal Science, Biomedical Engineering, and Fire Tech Safety Engineering from any recognized Institution/ University.
Application Fee: all general/OBC candidates have to pay application fee of Rs. 100/- through online only. There is no application fee for SC/ST /PWD and women candidates.
- Selection Procedure:
For Subjects/ Disciplines in Part-I: The final selection of the aspirants will be wholly on the basis of regulation wise category wise merit of aggregate of, 80% weightage to GATE score and 20% weightage to marks in personal interview.
For Subjects/ Disciplines in Part-II: The final selection of the aspirants will be wholly on the basis of regulation wise category wise merit of marks in oral interview.
- How to apply: all interested and eligible candidates have to register the online application form from 20th March 2016 to 10th April 2016. After the successful completion of application process candidates have to take the printout of filled application form for further usage.
