OPSC Recruitment 2016 for 372 Medical Officer Posts: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has come with an employment notification for the recruitment of 372 posts. These vacancies are present in medical officer (assistant surgeon) vacancies in junior class-I (group-A) of Odisha medical & health service cadre under health & family welfare department. Age Limit: Applicants age should be between 21 years to 32 years as on the final date of 01-01-2016. Age relaxation would be applicable 5 years for SC/ ST/SEBC/women/ ex-servicemen and 10 years for pwd candidates. Age relaxation would be applicable as per the rules and regulation of the government.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed MBBS or its equivalent degree from any medical college or institution which was recognized by the medical council of India.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on the performance in the written test and career making. Career making will be for 30% (10% for 10th class, 10% for intermediate and 10% for MBBS).
Application Fee: aspirants have to pay application fee of Rs. 300/- to be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India using online challan (pay-in slip). No application fee for all SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
